Location of the Intertidal zone
The intertidal zone is a zone between high tide and low tide where lots of marine life lives. The intertidal zone is next to the suplitoral and nertitic zone. This zone is the shalowest of all the benthic zones. When the tide flows in the intertidal zone is covered with the water; but, when the tide flows out the intertidal zone is exposed to the sun light.
